The Aviation Administration of Kazakhstan hosted a working meeting with representatives of the U.S. Embassy in the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Export Control and Border Security (EXBS) Program.
During the meeting, the parties reviewed the results of their long-standing cooperation in aviation security and discussed key priorities for further strengthening the partnership. Both sides highly appreciated the contribution of EXBS-supported projects to enhancing Kazakhstan’s civil aviation system and advancing international aviation security standards.
As part of this cooperation, Kazakh aviation professionals have participated in specialized training programs, international educational initiatives, and professional exchange activities. In addition, airports across the country have been equipped with modern security screening equipment, contributing to the enhancement of aviation security infrastructure.
The discussions also focused on further developing human capital, implementing international best practices, and continuing joint initiatives aimed at strengthening Kazakhstan’s aviation security system. The participants reaffirmed their commitment to expanding their trusted partnership and implementing new collaborative projects.
The Aviation Administration of Kazakhstan expressed its appreciation to the U.S. partners for their continued support and constructive cooperation. It was emphasized that this partnership contributes to strengthening the country’s aviation security culture, promoting the effective adoption of international best practices, and supporting the sustainable development of Kazakhstan’s civil aviation sector.
